History

The Boathouse Brasserie has been operating in Rufford for the last 15 years – under the Management of Simon and Michelle for the last 8 years. The Boathouse is a renovated converted Dairy Farm on the banks of the Leeds/Liverpool Canal with stunning views of Winter Hill and Rivington Pike. They serve traditional home cooked classical British dishes and a mix of classic dishes from around the world using the finest locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. There is a wide array of Homemade Cakes, Gateaux s, Pies and Tray bakes all excellently priced and served with a good old fashioned warm friendly smile.

With all of these very appealing images popping into your head, you’re likely to think about the one and only The Boat House Rufford.

Now Docking, The Boat House Brasserie have been serving the public with home made delights in Rufford for a number of years now, we felt it was about time that we develop an online presence so that our customers and perspective customers could keep up to date with us. We would like to invite you to come and visit us, to try the food and meet our friendly staff.

Our opening times are 9.30am-5pm everyday and we stop serving food at 3:30pm.
